A Look Forward To Burnley

Last Tuesday Karen, Kerry, Lianne and I popped down to the Amdani Hi Girls and Women’s Football Centre at Ocean Park. On one pitch our Vets were playing Cardiff Dragons in the Casual League, and on another, our Firsts were training and as well as getting behind our Vets, we also wanted to show our support for the squad as they prepare for our Vitality FA Cup match against Burnley this coming Sunday!

It’s fair to say we are having a decent season so far, and the FA cup run has been a lovely extra for us. As a club we are all looking forward to Sunday, where as long as we do ourselves proud with our performance, and play the game and not the occasion it will be a weekend to remember!

On Tuesday we looked the part – the hype was there, and I hope that our girls know that even if we are not there in person on Sunday, every one of us in the club and all those who have followed us all season will be kicking every ball with them! Pob lwc merched!
