Cardiff City LFC U13

We run a very vibrant and successful under 13s section for girls aged from 11 to 13 that play in the South Wales Women’s and Girls League.

The girls train weekly on a Thursday night 6.30pm to 7.30pm at the Ocean Park Arena, CF24 5HF, and are run by FAW qualified coaches Deb Ball and Camron George. Both have been involved with the club for a long time: Deb has coached various sections within the club for over 25 years and Camron is in his 3rd season with us. Both Deb and Camron are a huge and integral part of our junior section within the club.

Playing within a junior section is all about learning new skills and developing as players. We encourage team spirit, ethics and morals as well as making new friends, and making sure that the girls have fun and enjoy their football all in a safe and welcoming environment.

All of our junior sections are part of the pathway into our senior 1st team – a pathway that current international players like Jess Fishlock and Sophie Ingle have all taken before moving into the professional game.
