After a cagey first half , the goals came thick and fast for Cardiff as they put 5 past Bournemouth Sports in the FA Cup.

It was the visitors who had the best of the opening exchanges as they had more controlled possession without fashioning many clear cut opportunities.

However , in the tail end of the half Cardiff came into their own and started imposing themselves on the game more. They had a flurry of shots on goal but the away sides keeper Sam Chrippes was in fine form and was equal to everything.

Cardiff started the first half as they finished the second as shortly after the restart they took the lead. It was a brilliantly worked goal which caught the oppositions defenders napping as Cori Williams found Kerry Bartlett in the box and she managed to fashion herself some room to get the shot away and finished clinically.

Once the first went in the flood gates started to open as Williams doubled the lead shortly after the opener. Williams played a big part in the 3rd as her shot met the head of Bartlett who found the back of the net from close range for her second of the match.

Bartlett wasn’t the only one who got a brace as Williams got a second goal to match her two assists as she made it 4-0 to the Dragons.

Cardiff saved their best goal till last as Ruby Scahill was found just outside the box who had time to unleash a rocket into the top corner just before the final whistle.
