As the Dragons prepare for Sunday’s match they will look to continue their impressive winning streak, seeing them win all 14 games in all competitions this season, scoring an average of 5 goals per game.
The club has so far seen off Downend Flyers, Bridgwater United and Keynsham Town en route to round three, and Women’s Super League 1 clubs entering the pot from the next round, a win on Sunday could see Cardiff face one of the top women’s teams in the country, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.
Despite the perfect start to the season, manager Jamie Phillip is keen to ensure that complacency doesn’t creep in. “It’s a dangerous draw. We certainly don’t want any upsets, so we’ve just got to make sure we are focused and we go into that game with the highest possible standards.”

With eight wins across all competitions this season, their only defeat came last week as they fell 3-0 at home to Abington United in the league. In the last round of the cup they overcame Torquay United 3-2 in a thrilling home encounter.
Speaking with the BBC, Manager Ricky Barton remains optimistic about Sundays tie. “We have nothing to lose against Cardiff, no pressure to win as the underdogs and it will be a great day out for the club. “We will fight as we always do and who knows what will happen – it’s the FA Cup.”
